Representing diverse backgrounds and serving as leaders across various clubs and organizations, each member brings a unique perspective, united by a shared commitment to empathy and advocacy. Together, they are passionate about building a world where schizophrenia is understood and not stigmatized.

  • Lizzie Calderon

    CO-FOUNDER

    Lizzie is a Human Biology and Society major at Pasadena City College with a passion for understanding the connections between medicine and human experience. Inspired by the stories of her grandmother, she is driven to promote greater awareness and empathy in schizophrenia. She has an interest in radiation oncology, a field where she hopes to support patients through complex physical and emotional challenges.

  • Alvin Tam

    CO-FOUNDER

    Alvin is a Public Health undergraduate student at Pasadena City College with a strong interest in community health. He aspires to become a Physician Assistant so he can serve diverse populations and contribute to accessible care. Passionate about mental health advocacy, Alvin has taken on leadership roles in multiple organizations, where he works to raise awareness and support initiatives that strengthen well-being within communities.

    DATA RESEARCH ANALYST

    Melvin is a Data Science undergraduate at Pasadena City College, where he hopes to help solve real-world problems and help organizations in the world of healthcare, business, and technology. He hopes to eventually pursue his Master’s Degree in Data Science to continue learning and eventually lead data-driven projects that make a great impact in his communities.
